2017 TOUCH THE AUTHOR
Performed Storytelling
A Holistic Approach to Literature
Extension Activities & a Thoughtful Look
at Picture Book Art

The books this year are eloquent in supporting our storytelling theme: EMBRACING DIFFERENCES

In Kinder, our choices celebrate the mystery of unusual friendships.

Brown Bear turns 50. A bunch of animal hand puppets from the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art add to the colourful diversity theme. Kinder 3 and 4 [BROWN BEAR BROWN BEAR]

A Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle will continue to be our guest in 2017.

Kids also take delight in Quiet Bunny's adventures with a very different kind of buddy: a noisy puppy with small and pointy ears, and a long and skinny tail. After scampering and hopping, the two of them will also befriend Harry, a very naughty dog who loves frolicking in the mud. Kinder 4 & 5 [BUNNY AND HIS PUPPY PALS]

A BUNCH OF ANIMAL HAND PUPPETS from the Eric Carle Museum and a
Collection of 12 Decorative Prints
add to the Eric Carle Festival at your school.

Facilitated by Lydia Stevens
